Motoshi CHIKAMORI
1971年 東京都生まれ
筑波大学大学院芸術研究科修了
1996年頃から久納とのコラボレーションを開始し、2000年から、メディア・プロダクツ・ユニット“minim++”（ミニムプラプラ）として活動。影絵や積み木、絵本など、子どもの遊びや玩具をモチーフにしたインタラクティヴな作品を国内外で発表する。1998年、第一回文化庁メディア芸術祭デジタルアート・インタラクティブ部門大賞受賞。 2002年頃より筧とのコラボレーションが始まる。メディア・アート作品制作と同時に、大学との共同研究，公共空間や商業施設等の演出も手がける。 1971 Born in Tokyo

They produced many interactive works using toys and child's play as motifs and their works have been featured internationally in such venues as Ars Electronica, SIGGRAPH, Centre Pompidou and Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography etc.

筧康明
Yasuaki KAKEHI
1979年 京都府生まれ。
2007年 東京大学大学院学際情報学府 博士課程修了。博士（学際情報学）。
実世界指向インタラクティヴメディアの研究開発の傍らメディア・アート作品制作を行い、SIGGRAPH、Ars Electronica、文化庁メディア芸術祭などで作品を発表。2004年、NHKデジタルスタジアム年間グランプリなど個人での受賞も多数。2002年頃より、近森、久納とのコラボレーションが始まる。現在は、慶應義塾大学環境情報学部 専任講師としても活動中。
1979 Born in Kyoto
Kakehi received his PhD degree in Interdisciplinary Information Studies from the University of Tokyo in 2007. Now he is a lecturer of Keio University. Developed various real-world-oriented interactive media, and created media art works based on the innovative technologies. His works have been presented at exhibitions such as SIGGRAPH and the Japan Media Arts Festival and he has got a lot of awards including NHK Digital Stadium Grand Prix in 2004.

Ai OHARA
1979年 東京都生まれ。
2003年武蔵野美術大学造形学部映像学科卒業
2008年まで同学科研究室助手。2004年頃よりアニメーターとしてplaplaxの作品にプロジェクト単位で参加。2008年より正式メンバー。
プリミティブな映像原理や視覚装置についての研究のかたわら、ものが動いてみえるしくみとそのこと自体のもつおもしろさをヒントに、アニメーション作品やインスタレーション作品を制作。 1979 Born in Tokyo

Ohara worked for Musashino Art University as research assistant until 2008. She began to join plaplax as animator in 2004 and has been a regular plaplax member since 2008.
